Welcome to the Grand Falls-Windsor Fire Department. It is our pleasure to provide this site for the use of the public to better enhance fire protection in Grand Falls Windsor. The Grand Falls - Windsor Fire Department. located in central Newfoundland proudly protects approximately 18,000 population living in an area of 35 square kilometers. We operate out of one centrally located fire station on the corner Bayley Street and Harris Avenue. Our Dept. is a composite fire department with 5 fulltime staff, 3 part time staff and 45 highly professional volunteer firefighters.  Over 90 percent of our firefighters have been certified to NFPA 1001 Level II firefighter. The remainder are currently undergoing their certification training for Level I and Level II.
