Own a Part of History

In 2005, the town of Grand Falls-Windsor will be 100 years old. To celebrate this event, the Grand Falls-Windsor Heritage Society is publishing a community history book, Grand Falls-Windsor: The Place and Its People. The book will trace the evolution of all aspects of the community including the mill, housing, education, medical care, businesses, athletics, the arts, and last but not least, our citizens. This deluxe hardcover book will include over 300 pages of facts, figures, anecdotes, and personal family stories, plus hundreds of pictures.

Our special pre-publication offer is now over, but you can still pre-order your book. The cost per book, for local pick-up, is $42.79 including GST. If the book is mailed within Canada, a further shipping and handling charge will apply for a total of $53.49 including GST. The cost for US and international orders, with shipping, is $49.99. The hardcover edition will be published in the fall of 2004.

To order the book online, go to our secure online store. To order by mail, send a brochure and order form request to us at gfwheritagesociety@nf.aibn.com or download the order form PDF.
