The Town of Grand Falls-Windsor and Reid’s Construction Ltd. would like to notify its residents that the section of Patrick Street between the intersection with Kenmore Street and Victoria Street will be closed to traffic starting on Monday, November 20th, 2017 and ending on Thursday, November 23rd, 2017.  This is necessary in order to replace a section of the sanitary sewer line.  In order to safely complete this work the watermain on Patrick Street must be depressurized and as a result homes in the area along Patrick Street from the intersection with Ruston Avenue to Coronation Street may lose their water between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm during the above noted dates.  The Town apologizes for the inconvenience but it is necessary to safely complete this upgrade.

TICKETS ON SALE TONIGHT FOR UPCOMING CATARACTS HOME GAMES

The Cataracts will make their return to the Joe Byrne this coming weekend, for the 1st time since winning the Allan Cup. They'll play a pair of games against teams from the East Coast Senior Hockey League. Saturday evening they'll take on the Southern Shore Breakers and then play host to the CBS Blues Sunday afternoon. This will mark the 1st visit ever, to the Joe Byrne for both these teams.

Tickets for this weekend's games will be available to Holding Seat/Standing owners tonight,Tuesday evening from 7-9pm at the Joe Byrne Memorial Stadium. The General Public can purchase tickets Thursday evening from 7-9pm and 1 hour prior to game time each day. PLEASE NOTE: Tickets will NOT be available at other outlets this season.

Tickets are $10 each for Holding Seat owners and $12.50 for the General Public.

2017 allan cup winners

The Public Works Department would like to notify the Public that due to the Holiday on Monday for Remembrance Day, garbage collection for Monday will take place on Tuesday.
