Don’t miss the very first annual Gathering Tour!

Gonna become an annual event, and this is first of many…The Gathering is going on the road!

Based on the popular annual festival held in Shaun’s ‘Ome town of Burlington, celebrating Fire Food and Music, the tour brings a small sample of one of the most fun weekends of the summer to a town near you!

Hosted by Shaun, the inaugural Gathering Tour features a number of amazing acts who’ll be performing at this year’s Gathering Festival on August 24-26.

This years tour features ‘Kane and Potvin,’ made up of 90s Canadian rockers Kevin Kane of ‘The Grapes of Wrath’ and Bryan Potvin of ‘The Northern Pikes,’ who have now begun touring the country as a duo. In addition, Shaun will be joined by master songwriter and 7th level story Jedi Steve Poltz, known for his work with the artist ‘Jewel’ and the writer of such chart-toppers as ‘You Were Meant for Me,’, and the first annual Gathering Tour wouldn’t be complete without festival favorite, the super talented, singer songwriter, Corner Brook’s own Sherman Downey.

This year we are sticking to the TCH, but future tours will aim for far and away places all over the island.

As a part of a larger social enterprise, this not for profit festival aims to raise money and create a micro economy through tourism, with the profits being reinvested back into the local communities of Burlington Middle Arm and Smiths Harbour.
