Our community is known, and loved, for its vibrant personality
and fighting spirit. We're proud of our history and our many
achievements.
It's hardly surprising that nearly everyone has a favourite meeting place
in town for socializing with friends.
Organizations like the Kiwanis, Kinsmen,
Legion, Guides and Scouts, Rotary and Lion's
Clubs are very popular, as is the seniors'
based 50 + Club at the Edward's Senior
Citizens Centre on Edward's Place. There
are also countless recreational and sports
clubs, of course, offering hockey for all
age groups, baseball, soccer, figure
skating, the martial arts, and many more
activities.
