Opened in 1971, it was formerly part of the Czechoslovakian
Pavilion at Montreal's Expo 67. It houses a 400 seat theatre,
art exhibition area & public library. The theatre presents
performing arts from all disciplines. The library has internet
access for the public. The former Arts & Culture Centre was
re-named the Gordon Pinsent Centre for the Arts in July to
honor native son Gordon on his 75th birthday, as a part of
the Town's 2005 Centennial Celebrations.
