YouthGrand Falls-Windsor is home to Youth 2000 Centre (Y2C)!
The Y2C hosts several exciting programs for children and youth within
the area. Programs such as YOUTH ZONE- A drop in centre that is a
safe place where youth can meet, have fun and do activities that
promote stronger links between young people and their community.
Homework Haven and Kids Eat Smart Club are also a strong foundation of
the Y2C. |

This after-school
tutoring/literacy program for area youth focuses on literacy and
homework help, by incorporating fun, skill-building activities for
participants. While doing homework, the Kids Eat Smart Club provides
children/youth with a nutritional snack that will help them learn, grow
and to be their best. The Y2C also gives youth program
opportunities to explore leadership skills within themselves. Youth can
get together and have fun while developing leadership and interpersonal
skills, self -awareness, and community involvement.
